Seoul, Republic of Korea – CUREXO Inc. (KOSDAQ: 060280), a medical robotics specialist, announced that it recorded an operating profit of KRW 9.7 billion on a consolidated basis in the third quarter, turning profitable compared with the same period last year.

The company reported cumulative consolidated sales of KRW 53.7 billion for the first three quarters, representing a 30% increase year-on-year. In particular, cumulative revenue from its core medical robot business grew by 80% over the same period last year, driving both top-line growth and improved profitability.

Operating profit for the third quarter came in at KRW 9.7 billion, marking a turnaround from both the prior-year quarter and the previous quarter and signaling a clear improvement in earnings quality.

CUREXO explained that its performance was primarily supported by the diversification of its global medical robot sales portfolio. In 2024, the company expanded sales into new overseas markets including Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan, thereby broadening and stabilizing its international revenue base. The company also noted that sales in India, which were temporarily sluggish last year, have started to recover.

A CUREXO spokesperson said,

"Once we obtain regulatory approvals for CUVIS-joint in the United States (FDA), Europe (CE), and in markets such as the Middle East and Latin America, we expect to generate additional medical robot sales. We will continue to expand our presence in global markets and aim to maintain mid- to long-term growth momentum."
